Ben Zur appeared before the commission of inquiry that was formed after the Second Lebanon War (representing former Defense Minister, Amir Peretz), and in the Zayler Committee that investigated police conduct (representing senior police officers), etc.

Adv. Boaz Ben Zur graduated from the Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Law (magna cum laude) and has an LL.M degree.
During his studies, Adv. Ben Zur received a number of scholarships for his exceptional academic achievements. Adv. Ben Zur served as member of the “Law Review” journal, and served as a teaching assistant to Prof. Ruth Ben-Israel.
Adv. Ben Zur began his legal career at S. Horowitz & Co. in 1987 and later joined J. Weinroth & Co. – one of Israel’s leading litigation firms – where he was a senior partner for 15 years from 1990.
During his work at J. Weinroth & Co., Adv. Ben Zur led the commercial litigation and white collar cases of the firm, and managed the entire litigation team. Adv. Ben Zur headed the legal representation of significant litigation cases and represented most of the largest insurance companies, the accounting firm of Kesselman & Kesselman, public companies, public figures and businessmen. In addition, Adv. Ben Zur was in charge of the defense in the “La National” affair – a case that dealt with Insurance issues, and which was one of the largest and most complex financial-criminal cases in Israel in general, and in the field of insurance in particular.
In addition, Adv. Ben Zur serves as an arbitrator in commercial cases.
Adv. Ben Zur is also a lecturer of commercial and administrative law and in professional seminars of the Israel Bar Association.
Adv. Ben Zur was appointed by the Head of the Israel Bar Association as chairman of the Committee of Courts of the Israel Bar Association. In the past, Adv. Ben Zur served as a member of the Civil Procedure Committee on behalf of the Israel Bar Association, and represented the “Histadrut” in the extensive reform of pension arrangements.

Adv. Ben Zur served in the Israel Defense Forces as a company commander in the infantry corps (with a rank of Major – reserves).
